About Upstate Warrior Solution
Upstate Warrior Solution is a community-based nonprofit in Greenville, South Carolina, a registered 501(c)(3) since 2013. Its mission is to connect warriors and their families to resources and opportunities, lead them through the process of self-empowerment, and inspire the community to embrace local warriors.
Who They Serve
Veterans, service members, first responders and their families across five Upstate counties: Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens.
What They Do
- Service coordination: one point of contact who works out what a warrior actually needs and stays with them through it.
- Housing and healthcare: help finding somewhere to live and getting connected to care.
- Employment and education: job placement, career coaching, and help putting education benefits to use.
- VA benefits and legal: navigating claims and connecting to legal assistance.
- Peer support and recreation: peer training, outdoor experiences and therapeutic art classes.
Why They Are Here
